If you have been in any kind of network marketing company or MLM business, you know that the first thing you need to have in order to map your plan for success is a big “why.” Now, for most people, the first response to that question might be, “well, money of course!” In actuality, we learn that our “why” has to be much, much bigger than that.
It may be that you want to stay home with your family. It may be that you want more freedom and flexibility with your time. It could be that you want to travel the world. Or maybe you want to be able to give more and help others in need. Whatever it may be, it surely needs to be something that is strong enough to keep you forging along in your business, putting one foot in front of the other.
My “why” has typically remained the same over the years. It has allowed me to keep a strong back and kept me moving forward. So the foundation is there, but why did I choose Global Resorts Network as my vehicle to get me to there?
I have been in a few different network marketing companies over the last 20 years, typically they were skincare and wellness companies. Only in my latest venture did I really understand the concept of network marketing and did I really work hard at that business. After a year and a half of diligently working my business I really had nothing to show for my efforts except a mountain of debt and no team. I was a team of one. Typically, MLM is considered to be a face-to-face or belly-to-belly business. Basically, even to this day, network marketing companies are teaching their downline to approach all of their family and friends about the opportunity, thus creating a lot of tension with your own friends and family, as well as speaking to strangers within three feet of you. How comfortable is that to ask the guy in front of you in the grocery line if he wants to try a sample of your face goop.
After a year of research about the MLM industry, and training in marketing online, including using pay-per-click advertising, article marketing and social networking sites, I finally decided that the traditional MLM structure just wasn’t for me. I needed something that had a compensation plan that really made sense, and where I wouldn’t have to buy $150 in product every month just to get a paycheck that didn’t even cover my car payment.
With Global Resorts Network, I am able to make a great commission up front, like in a direct-sales company, and then I also get to take advantage of a “residual” income as well, as my team grows and adds more affiliates.
The reason “why” I am in this industry coupled with the reason “why” I chose Global Resorts Network is a perfect fit for me. I have the desire that is required, I have the mentoring and support that I need, and I love the product. What more could you ask for when searching for that perfect company.

I agree with you 100%. The answer to the “why” question is everything.
I am a college graduate without much in the way of skills to offer the world.
If I learned anything in college, it is that having an opinion is not the same things as having something to say.
So, when I approach people, I need to have something to say that hasn’t been said a million times before.
Most people have heard all about driving traffic to one’s business or site, but very little about providing a real beneficial service to the client once the client gets there.
I am a college graduate, have a degree in English, and can tell you the scores of football and basketball games. My help is accepted in the soup kitchen as long as it is volunteer labor.
I cannot build, repair or cook. I have no real work experience, since I was busy amassing student loan debt, and of course in the process supplying work to leering English professors with tenure who like to wear their white hair in a pony or like Einstein, and of course, there is the universal turtle neck.
I just want to be able to be of value to someone.
But, then, there’s that college loan debt that the government doesn’t want to just forget about.
However, since every other person applying to the jobs advertised in my town seems to have better inflated grades than I do, and no better idea of how to be of benefit to anyone than I do, we are kind of stuck.
So, if you can help me really make a difference with a real product that will improve the lives of the people I approach whoever they may be, I’m ready.
Happy New Year
