If others can do this, why can’t I? I used to ask this question daily! In 1998, I found my first business opportunity, and I was raring to go at it and make good money. I told everyone I knew about this great group of products that really worked and had an amazing list of doctors on the board of directors. It had famous athletes and celebrities alike singing praises about it. There was no way this could possibly not succeed! I had my warm market list ready, and I started walking the walk and talking the talk.
About a month down the road, I was shocked to find that NO ONE had joined my business. The company and products were, and still are, amazing! I thought that it would be a breeze to get it up and running. Here I had a legitimate work at home business opportunity, and yet I got nowhere because I didn’t have anyone that would listen. No one caught the fire or saw the legitimate home business opportunity in front of them. Everyone involved in network marketing dreams of having that group of followers that will jump on the bandwagon and see the vision. I mean, who wouldn’t want an internet home business that allows them to earn money from home and allows them to have the life they always dreamed of?
Building a network marketing business was proving to be a lot more difficult than I thought. Although I have stayed with this company, I just have not been able to build it to the successful home business I have wanted it to be.
A few years passed, and a friend of mine from back in high school contacted me. She had found a great opportunity that was very close to the same business model of the first company I was part of. I looked at all the information about it and found myself getting excited again. I was concerned that this could possibly turn out like that first company, but the fire was lit and it was a great opportunity! Hundreds of people were getting results. I refused to believe that those people were any different from me. If they could do it, so could I! Once again, though, my words fell flat.

I am finally gaining the freedoms that I had envisioned. I am able to spend time with my family, pay off my bills, actually recession-proof my life! It is even allowing me to help others attain their dreams and gain the financial freedom that they desire! In this economy, that is priceless.
