So, you’re not making tons of money, and you’re finding it hard to keep up with the costs of marketing your MLM. So, what do you do?
You have to learn and understand how the internet works. There are those who do not understand it nor do they know how to use it. Then, there are those who have mastered it and can use it to sell just about anything.
You can and WILL be the second if you listen to what I’m about to tell you:
FREE MLM LEAD GENERATION occurs when you use the internet to send out a message basically to the whole world for FREE.
The following four (4) avenues are the most effective means to gather free leads on the internet today:
1. YouTube is one of the most visited sites on the web (why do you think YouTube sold for $1.6 billion to Google after only a relatively short period on the web?). Use it! Make videos, not sales videos or people won’t like you, but videos that help people. Teach people how to do what you do to succeed and they will love you and your videos. This is free marketing. If people like you, they will want to know what you’re business is and will buy into it!
2. Facebook gets over 250,000 new members every single day. It has grown faster than any other social media tool. So, use it! Get on Facebook and network with your friends, neighbors, and strangers. Sign up to be in different groups and add value to those groups (again, don’t be salesy, be fun and informative). Again, as people begin to trust you and like you, they will begin to want to know what you’re doing.
3. Twitter You’ve probably heard of Twitter but have no idea what it is (I was exactly like this). Twitter is basically an internet life updater that allows people to “Follow” you as you give updates to what you’re doing at the moment. I like Twitter a lot because I can adapt it to about anything I’m using, my iPhone has it, my web address bar can use it, I have it on my blog and other places. This is not like Facebook. Many people say they are the same things, but they are not. Twitter is used to network with like minded people, Facebook is to network with as many people and friends as possible. Again, don’t use Twitter to be salesy, use Twitter to give people good content and information. Have fun, give out helpful links, ask questions, and in turn people will look at you as a resource.
4. Squidoo and Hubpages help me bring in traffic to my sites. When I find a keyword I like I swiftly put up my story on Squidoo and Hubpages and my info almost immediately goes to the top of page one on the Google search engine for that keyword. Google gives high marks to videos and websites like Squidoo and Hubpages … I don’t question the motives, I just use ‘em. Write little snippets on these and create your “Lense” or “Hub” and if you give good information, people will flock to your newly created, free site!
The major principle in free MLM lead generation is the idea of attraction marketing. People don’t like being SPAMMED about your business. But, they will flock to you like sheep if you show you are a leader with good information and are worthy of being followed.
As you use the free MLM lead generation techniques I’ve mentioned above, make sure you are always building relationships, not selling stuff. Rather than harass people, attract them and this will take you far in marketing!
